Junior Waste Consultant

We are looking for an energetic and confident person to work as a Junior Waste Consultant.

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice as a subject matter expert
  • Contributing to the business by supporting delivery activities
  • Committing to continuous improvement of waste programmes/strategies
  • Compile scientific reports for impact assessments and monitoring programmes
  • Interpret data and undertake statistical analysis
  • Responsible for the execution of projects within the set objectives of delivery and quality

 Knowledge and Skills:

Here is what you need to excel in this role:

  • A knowledge of environmental issues including practices, policies, legislation, and stakeholders, in relation to waste management
  • Be in possession of a Master’s degree in a scientific/technical subject, preferably in waste.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in waste management
  • Be self-driven, results-oriented and challenged by a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Possess good communication skills in both English and Maltese
  • Be proficient in technical report writing
  • Hold a valid driving licence

We seeking a dynamic individual to further strengthen our team.

Responsibilities:

You will report directly to the Group Finance Director, and shall be responsible for:

  • Managing an existing team of accounts personnel and maintaining/overseeing the full accounting process
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts and periodical management reports and their analysis as necessary.
  • Working closely with auditors for the audit deliverables and the preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Managing and submitting the VAT, FSS and other fiscal and regulatory returns.
  • Preparing payments and overseeing the process
  • Responding to clients’ requests to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the companies

 Knowledge and Skills:

Here is what you need to excel in this post:

  • Be a graduate in accountancy, either with a University degree or ACCA.
  • Hold at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role locally
  • Be smart, highly motivated and can work on your own initiative;
  • Have good written and oral skills in both English and Maltese
  • Have experience of a financial accounting system, Sage Line 50 preferred
  • Be well versed in Microsoft Office applications
  • Hold a valid driving licence

Marketing Co-Ordinator

Our requirement is on full time basis and you will report to the Marketing & Communications Executive.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Supplier sourcing, negotiation and co-ordination
  • Update calendars & budgets whilst keeping track of deadlines
  • Plan and organise promotional material by coordinating requirements with external parties such as designers & printers.
  • Come up with creative and innovative marketing ideas and assist in the execution of marketing plans
  • Management of social media channels (mainly on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram), website content and email marketing.
  • Working with external parties such as designers, suppliers and media houses to regularly co-ordinate the supply of designs, printed material, quotes etc.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and recommend improvements
  • Follow and evaluate marketing sales trends


 Knowledge and Skills:

Here is what you need to excel in this post:

  • Great verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Have a creative flair with demonstrable experience in marketing.
  • Familiarity with social media, analytic tools and professional networks
  • Highly organised, great attention to detail and time management
  • Basic experience working with Adobe Creative Suite or similar software, and WordPress

  • Take ownership of the onboarding process of new employees, from the drafting of contracts to the induction process

  • Organising and participating in appraisal meetings to ensure that they are carried out correctly

 Knowledge and Skills:
